I decided to choose the education industry since it been greatly influenced by computers and information technology all the time! Computers are used by everyone ranging from teachers, students, and other school workers for all kinds of different purposes. Schools use computers for teaching, communication, keeping records, scheduling, research, and all other kinds of other things. Teachers use computers to make assignments, presentations, lesson plans, and gradings. Students use them to research topics, complete homework, communicate with teachers, and access online learning materials just like now. Computers have made it much easier for schools to organize information and provide students with resources that were not always available in a normal classroom. I believe that over the next 10 years, advancements in computer hardware and technology will definitely continue to change education. As of right now prices are high for hardware but hopefully more affordable devices could make technology more accessible to students in the future as tech becomes more common. AI will likely have one of the biggest impacts on education and the rest of the world. AI tools can help teachers with a lot of their work and as well as students. We see it all the time in this time period with people supporting it or hating it. It is a hinderance for education as well because schools will have concerns about academic dishonesty and reliance for AI. At the end of the day AI and technology will continue to be a major role in education as well as the rest of the world.
